Tirumala Darshan Tokens are now available for devotees, allowing direct access to Lord Venkateswara’s darshan. According to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), devotees with these tokens can have a direct view of the deity. However, those without tokens might need to wait for about eight hours for the Sarva Darshan.
On January 28, 2025, approximately 70,610 devotees visited the temple. Among them, 17,310 offered their hair as a sign of devotion. The temple received donations totaling ₹3.78 crore that day.
Adhyayanotsavam Celebrations at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple
In Tirupati, the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple has commenced the Adhyayanotsavam festival. This event started on January 25 and will continue until February 17, 2025. During this period, the Divya Prabandham, a collection of sacred hymns, is recited daily. Every evening at 7:15 PM, in the temple’s Kalyana Mandapam, the deities Sri Govindaraja Swamy, along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, are brought for the recitation ceremony. This tradition has been followed for many years, especially during the Magha month.
