Vaikunta Ekadasi Tirumala 2025: TTD Finalizes Grand Preparations
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set for the Vaikunta Ekadasi Tirumala 2025 celebrations, scheduled from January 10 to January 19, 2025. The ten-day spiritual event, also known as Mukkoti Ekadasi, is one of the most sacred occasions at the Tirumala temple. Devotees from across the world gather to pass through the Vaikunta Dwaram, believed to bring divine blessings and spiritual liberation.
Key Preparations for Vaikunta Ekadasi Tirumala 2025
- Vaikunta Dwara Darshan:
- Devotees can access the Vaikunta Dwaram, the sacred gateway believed to grant salvation.
- Only ticket holders or those with darshan tokens will be allowed entry.
- TTD has suspended privilege darshans for senior citizens, NRIs, and other groups during this period to prioritize common devotees.
- Rituals and Special Events:
- The Vaikunta Dwaram will be open from January 10, 3:00 AM, to January 19, 11:59 PM.
- Significant rituals include the Swarna Radham Procession on January 10 and Chakra Snanam on January 11.
- Enhanced Services for Devotees:
- Annaprasadam will be served daily from 6:00 AM to midnight at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex (MTVAC).
- Medical services, water stations, and sanitation facilities are being upgraded to accommodate the large influx of pilgrims.
- Crowd Management Plans:
- Over 3,000 Srivari Sevaks, along with scouts and guides, will assist with crowd control.
- Devotees are advised to follow their allocated darshan slots to reduce waiting times.
TTD has also canceled VIP break darshans, except for protocol dignitaries, to ensure smooth access for common pilgrims. Pilgrims wearing Govinda Malas must also secure darshan tokens for entry.
