The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced the operation of special trains between Charlapalli and Tirupati to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the summer season

SCR Introduces Special Summer Trains Between Charlapalli and Tirupati

To manage the surge in passenger traffic during the summer season, the South Central Railway (SCR) has scheduled special train services between Charlapalli and Tirupati. These trains aim to provide additional travel options for pilgrims and travelers heading to the temple town of Tirupati.


Train Schedule and Details

  • Train No. 07259 (Charlapalli – Tirupati):
    • Departure: May 8 at 9:35 PM from Charlapalli
    • Arrival: May 9 at 10:10 AM at Tirupati
  • Train No. 07260 (Tirupati – Charlapalli):
    • Departure: May 9 at 4:40 PM from Tirupati
    • Arrival: May 10 at 7:30 AM at Charlapalli

These trains will halt at the following stations in both directions: Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Umdanagar, Shadnagar, Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthi Road, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Ontimitta, Rajampet, and Renigunta.

The special trains will comprise the following classes to cater to diverse passenger needs:

  • First AC
  • Second AC (2AC)
  • Third AC (3AC)
  • Sleeper Class
  • General Second Class
